Musicianship: 25+ years

Performing & Gigging: Countless cover bands, recording sessions, weddings, corporate events, primarily focused on collaborative original groups, recorded with grammy winning producers in grammy winning studios. Passionately into creating music as an art and sharing it through the process of recording and performing live. 

Teaching Career: 20+ years privately since 2000, also through the CA homeschooling networks and finally with group assemblies at schools. 

Students: Ages 4&up, any skill, any experience, with special needs to doctorate degrees. Anthony can, will and does teach anybody. 

Alumni: Two very notable and passionately driven students... One became the chief engineer/producer for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis; the other’s own personal band, Stickup Kid, was found by Green Day and taken under their wing from shows to recording contracts. Anthony’s students often return to 

Teaching Genres: Rock, Blues, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Country, Metal, Concert, School Bands, World & Cultural  

Teaching philosophy: Anyone can learn, all it takes is practice. 

Student Performances: Two are held per year in professional theaters around the South Bay.

Musical Influences: Rush, Tool, Tower of Power, Garth Brooks, Earth Wind & Fire, Santana, The Bad Plus, Miles Davis, Rick James, Motown (the whole genre), 311, Sublime, Deftones, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Lord Huron, John Maer, Sting, The Police, W.A.R., Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, The San Francisco Symphony
